I just finished making about 8 dozen chocolate chip cookies from two different recipes. The children have been circling the finished product like pirahnas at feeding time. Am I bad because it's kinda fun to make them wait to have one of the cookies in their clutches?

I'm a happily married father of two exasperating children. I trained and worked as a journalist and editor until my children were born, then left the workforce to become Mr. Mom as my wife entered her Emergency Medicine residency. Now, in addition to my children, I'm tasked with maintenance and trying to be as self-sufficient as possible on our 87-acre farm in Northeast Ohio.
